2006/9/29 27-year old charged with attempted murder, Geary, N.B. 27-year old Kirk Jonah of Geary, N.B. appeared in a Fredericton courtroom on September 29, 2006 charged with two counts of attempted murder and one count of robbery. On September 28, 2006 at approximately 8:30 pm, the Oromocto RCMP responded to a home in Geary, N.B. where two people had been stabbed. A 70-year old man and his 67-year old wife were taken to hospital with serious injuries. Mr. Jonah will return to Burton Provincial Court on October 2 at 1:30pm. - 30 - Sgt. Kirk Jonah, 27 ans, de Geary (N.-B.) a comparu en cour à Fredericton le 29 septembre 2006 pour faire face à deux chefs d’accusation de tentative de meurtre, et à un chef d’accusation de vol. Le 28 septembre 2006, vers 20 h 30, la GRC d’Oromocto s’est rendue à un domicile de Geary (N.-B.) où deux personnes avait été victimes d’une agression au couteau. Un homme de 70 ans et sa femme de 67 ans ont été transportés à l’hôpital souffrant de blessures sérieuses. M. Jonah recomparaîtra a la cour provinciale de Burton le 2 octobre à 13h30. - 30 - Serg.
