2005/5/30 Update - Missing Person returned home, Blackville, N.B. Monday May 30th, 2005 around 8 pm, Mr. Martin Cox arrived home after being lost in the woods for over two days. Mr. Cox walked out of the woods several kilometers from his home. He was given a ride home by a motorist, he was uninjured but tired and cold. Today the GSR had continued their search with the RCMP Helicopter and the Police dog. On Saturday May 28th, 2005 Mr. Martin Cox 58 years of age of Route 430 CI Road, told his spouse, he was going to clear up a path in the woods behind the residence when the rain started about 3 pm. His spouse went looking for Cox later and was unable to locate him. When Mr. Cox had not returned the RCMP was contacted late last night. The Tobique Ground Search and Rescue "GSR" was mobilized and on scene at about 5:30 am on Sunday May 29th, 2005 and are searching a the wooded area around the residence The Moncton GSR were called in around noon to relieve the Tobique GSR. Mr Martin Cox is described as heavy set weighing 250 pounds, 5 feet 8 inches, Gray hair wearing glasses, was wearing Black Ball Cap, Yellow T-Shirt and a Gray Jacket, had Black boots. Mr. Cox has just recently moved in the area from Toronto, Ontario. - 30 - Constable Eric A. Martin Cox est arrivé à la maison après avoir été perdu dans le bois depuis plus de deux jours. Mr. Cox est sorti du bois plusieurs kilomètres de chez soi. Il a été accompagner par quelqu'un en voiture. Il était indemne mais froid et fatigue. Aujourd'hui l'équipe des ratisseurs ainsi que l'hélicoptère de la GRC et le section cynophile continuait leur recherche sans aucun signe de M. Cox. Le samedi 28 mai, 2005 M. Martin Cox âgé de 58 ans, résident sur la route 430 "C I Road", a dit à sa conjointe, qu'il allait éclaircir un chemin dans les bois derrière sa résidence quand la pluie a commencé a environ samedi vers 15h. Sa conjointe est allé chercher pour lui plus tard et ne pouvait pas le localiser. Quand M. Cox n'était pas de retour, la GRC fut contacter samedi soir. L'équipe de recherche et sauvetage au sol de Tobique ont été mobilisées et sont arrivés sur la scène à environ 5h30 le dimanche 29 mai, 2005 et cherche dans le secteur boisé autour de la résidence. Alentours de midi L'équipe de recherche et sauvetage au sol de Moncton à été appelé pour remplacer l'autre l'équipe de recherche et sauvetage au sol de Tobique. M. Martin Cox est décrit, carrure lourd, 250 livres, 1 mètre 73, portant des verres et a des cheveux gris, portait une casquette noir, un t-shirt jaune et une veste grise, et a des bottes noires. M.
