Thanks for searchers
Our family wants to extend a heartfelt thank you to the York Sunbury Search and Rescue team and the RCMP for their help in finding my husband and children last Saturday.
What was a frightening and uncomfortable situation could have quickly become very dangerous, and we are so grateful for their prompt and efficient response.
I am not sure if many people know the York Sunbury Search and Rescue is a non-profit organization run by volunteers. This amazing service is made possible by dedicated women and men who give of their time and energy not only to assist those who have become lost but to promote safety and awareness when in the woods.
Thank you to everyone at the search and rescue, you do amazing work.
